(1) A police officer who is not satisfied with the punishment order given in accordance with Rule 65 may file an appeal before the officer who hears the appeal within thirty-five days from the date of receiving the notification of such order.
(2) The appeal letter to be submitted according to sub-rule (1) should be written in polite language and a copy of the departmental punishment order given to him and other evidence necessary for his acquittal should also be attached with the appeal.
