The amount accumulated in the fund can be spent on the following works:-
(a) To pay the amount according to the decision of the court to pay compensation to the concerned person in relation to the services provided by any health worker or health institution registered in accordance with section 7, but to give to the concerned person in accordance with the decision of the court in relation to the damage caused due to the misconduct or serious negligence of the health worker or health institution. The committee will not bear the amount of compensation.
(b) To pay the reasonable expenses incurred in defending the case filed in the court as an opponent to the health workers and health institutions registered in accordance with section 7,
(c) To conduct the work of the committee.
