(1) In relation to the land acquired in accordance with section 15, the amount of compensation shall be given by the Government of Nepal to the landowner subject to section 20.
(2) After the land owner's rights are transferred to others, 10 percent of the compensation will be given in cash within 1 year and for the rest, bonds issued by the Government of Nepal will be given. Interest will be paid on these bonds at the rate specified by the Government of Nepal, not less than 3 percent and not more than 5 percent per annum. Within a period of 10 years from the date of issuance of the bonds, shares of the capital to be invested in the development plan can be purchased from those loans according to the conditions set by the Government of Nepal.
(3) The debenture issued as per sub-section (2) shall be accepted as a deposit or guarantee to be submitted to the Government of Nepal and as a pledge in any self-governing organization for taking a loan on behalf of the industry and such debenture may be listed and sold.
