(1) The land acquired or confiscated in accordance with this Act which is acquired or confiscated from a village or municipality shall be sold and distributed by the designated authority to the local people of the same village or municipality as prescribed. In this way, free workers, dalits, tribals and tribals will be given priority during the distribution of sales.
(2) According to sub-section (1), the land acquired in the sale and distribution shall be registered in the name of such person as the land owner.
(3) Until the land is sold and distributed in accordance with sub-section (1), the designated authority may allow such land to be acquired by the former land owner, Mohi or any other person under any condition.
