: (1) Armed police personnel will get salary allowance and ration from the date of reinstatement.
(2) Salaries and allowances received by the Armed Police personnel for serving in the Armed Police Service shall be as determined by the Government of Nepal from time to time.
(3) After completing one year of service, every armed police officer will get a salary increase as determined by the Government of Nepal.
(4) Armed police personnel who are promoted to a higher pay scale will get the starting pay scale of the promoted post. But if his current salary is equal to or more than the minimum salary of the upper salary scale, his salary will be determined as follows:-
(a)   if his current pay is only equal to the starting pay of the upper scale of pay, by adding one pay increment to that pay, and
(b) If the salary received in the previous position is higher than the starting salary of the promoted position, then one salary increment of the higher position will be added to the salary increment until it reaches the current salary while determining the salary of the higher position.
