:(1) There shall be a Tharu Commission in Nepal consisting of a Chairman and up to four other members.
(2) The President shall appoint the Chairman and members of the Tharu Commission on the recommendation of the Constitutional Council (3) The term of office of the chairman and members of the Tharu Commission shall be six years from the date of appointment.
(4) The qualifications of the chairman and members of the Tharu Commission, the condition of vacancies, remuneration and conditions of service and other provisions related to the work, duties and rights of such commission shall be in accordance with the federal law.
