(1) A person or an organization who wants to manufacture or import a measuring or weighing device shall obtain a sample permit from the department before manufacturing or importing such a device.
(2) The form of measuring or weighing device produced or imported in accordance with sub-section (1) shall not be altered.
(3) Regarding granting permission according to subsection (1). The procedure will be as prescribed.
