(d) In case of any act contrary to section 27, from five thousand rupees to ten thousand rupees,
(e) When selling or trading on the basis of the measure or weight of an item, the quantity of the measure or weight which has been bought, sold or traded, is taken more than/less than the quantity determined by the measure or weight, or if he is forced to take or promised to give, he shall be fined from five thousand rupees to twenty five thousand rupees, but construction Materials, gold, silver precious metals; Petroleum products, LPG In the case of cylinder or industry, he shall be fined from rupees fifty thousand to rupees one lakh.Explanation: For the purpose of this section, "construction material" means cement,' rods, bricks, ballast, sand, geo-textile, paint, cement board, wood used for windows and doors, glass, uPVC And also refers to electrical wires.

(3) If an inspector knowingly tampers with a scale or measuring or weighing device in contravention of this Act, he shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with a fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees or with both.
