Section 8B
Determining other units of measurement and weight
: (1) The supplementary (supplementary) derived (derived) or other units or standard counterparts or definitions related to the basic units of measurement and weight recommended by the General Assembly of Measurement and Weight and the International Organization of Legal Measurement and Weight Science shall be as prescribed. Explanation: Derived units means a unit derived from the original or complementary unit or from both units.
(2) Refraction (multiples), refraction (submultiples), natural constant (physical constant) and ratio multiplier (ratio of co-efficiency) related to the units of measurement or weight recommended by the General Assembly of Weights and Measures or the International Organization of Legal Weights and Weights shall be as specified. br> (3) The special units of measure and weight as recommended by the General Assembly of Weights and Measures or the International Organization of Legal Weights and Measures, may be specified by the Government of Nepal for the necessary period by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
