Rule 119B
Inspection and Review

(1) The head of the office or the head of the department shall periodically supervise and inspect whether the employees of his office are not complying with the office hours, whether they are negligent or lax in their work, or whether they are not providing services on time.
(2) Ministries, departments and regional and district level offices shall inspect their subordinate offices at least once a year.
(3) In accordance with sub-rule (2), it shall be the duty of the inspecting body to give instructions to the concerned body on matters that need to be improved or corrected, to initiate immediate action on matters that require investigation and action, and to immediately recommend to the concerned body on matters that need to be recommended.
(4) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (3), the chief district officer may inspect the offices in the district in which he is working from time to time and give necessary instructions.
(5) At the end of each month, the head of the office or the head of the department should hold a staff meeting and review the progress of the previous month under his office and determine the program to be done in the next month and send the details to the higher authority.
