Rule 101
Pension Procedure

(1) Civil servants who are compulsorily retired due to age or length of service, 6 months before the date of retirement Schedule-17A. The following form must be sent to the civil library through the office in which he/she is present.
(2) If a civil servant dies without filling the form as per sub-rule (1), then the deceased employee's desired person and if not, the surviving member of his family shall send the form to the concerned authority within 6 months in the following order:-
(a) Spouse of Sagol,
(b) Son, unmarried daughter, adopted son, unmarried adopted daughter or widowed son-in-law,
(c) ………………..
(d) Sagol's father, mother,
(e) In the case of male and unmarried female employees who have to maintain themselves, father-in-law, grandchild and in the case of married female employees, mother-in-law, father-in-law and son-in-law,
(f) Spouse living separately,
(g) estranged son, unmarried daughter, adopted son, unmarried adopted daughter or widowed son-in-law,
(h) Living separately from ……….. father and mother,
(j) Sagol's brother, brother …….. and son's unmarried granddaughter,
(j) Sagol's unmarried sister, sister, …………..
(k) Sagol's nephew, niece, step-mother, step-son's grandson, unmarried granddaughter,
(l) Sagol's uncle, widowed aunt, brother-in-law, brother-in-law, granddaughter-in-law,
(d) Siblings, brothers,
(d) Married elder sister, sister, brother-in-law, brother-in-law, ……….., granddaughter-in-law, nephew. Explanation :- If more than one relative is designated at the same time, all the relatives designated in that order can get the pension of the deceased employee equally.
(3) After receiving the form according to sub-rule (1) or (2), the civil library shall, after necessary investigation, issue a certificate of pension to the retired employee or the relative of the deceased employee who is entitled to pension in the framework prescribed by the Government of Nepal. The person who fills the form for pension should send it in writing to the civil library and send it to the concerned person within thirty-five days so that the person concerned can receive it.
