: Abandonment of the area shall not relieve the Contractor of the obligations mentioned in Clause 10. However, if the contractor voluntarily abandons all the remaining areas of the contract area before the start of the first or second additional exploration period, he will be released from the responsibility for the work to be done during the first or second additional period.
