(1) If any position in the Legislature-Parliament Service is not filled for one year from the date of its creation or vacancy, the said position shall automatically be abolished. The Secretariat shall give the details of the canceled posts to the Civil Library within seven days of the cancellation of such posts. The civil library should keep its records up-to-date. However, the posts that are being filled up by the Public Service Commission and the promotion process has already started will not be cancelled, and the secretariat will have to make the information available to the civil library.
(2) The civil library shall give notice of the canceled posts as per sub-rule (1) to the Secretariat and the Ministry of Finance.
