Removable

(1) If the Vice-Chancellor or the Registrar has not fulfilled the responsibilities of his position, has not worked honestly or has not behaved in accordance with his position, if one-third of the members present in the Assembly submit a written report to the Vice-Chancellor to remove him from his position, the Vice-Chancellor shall appoint a three-member investigation committee headed by a member of the Assembly, a member of the University Grants Commission and the Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. will constitute.
(2) The investigation committee formed according to sub-section (1) shall conduct the necessary investigation and submit its report to the Chancellor within thirty days.
(3) After receiving the report as per sub-section (2), the chancellor shall present the report to the assembly.
(4) During the discussion on the report submitted in accordance with sub-section (2), if at least fifty-one percent of the members of the assembly decide to remove the vice-chancellor or registrar from the post, the vice-chancellor or registrar will be removed from the post by the vice-chancellor.
