(1) The Vice-Chancellor of the University shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor for a period of four years.

(2) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the chief administrative officer of the University.

(3) The Vice-Chancellor shall be a full-time salaried officer. His remuneration and other conditions of service shall be as prescribed.

(4) In the absence of the Chancellor and the Vice-Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor shall preside over the University Assembly.

(5) To ensure compliance with this Act and the rules made under this Act. It will be the duty of the Vice-Chancellor and if, in the opinion of the Vice-Chancellor, an emergency situation has arisen that cannot be taken without immediate action, he may take appropriate and necessary action and will inform the relevant officer or agency as soon as possible.

(6) ) The Vice-Chancellor shall implement the decisions or orders of the Assembly.

(7) The Vice-Chancellor shall have general control over all academic and academic activities of the University.

(8) All matters presented in the Assembly shall be submitted through the Vice-Chancellor.

(9) All the functions of the university will be implemented by the Vice-Chancellor under the direction of the Assembly.
