Rule 34A
Provisions relating to posting

(1) According to Section 7 of the Act, during the initial appointment of civil servants who are open and recommended by promotion, such employees will be informed of the vacancies and will be appointed in the position chosen according to the order of merit and their interest and preference. However, in the case of employees who are posted after the service entry training, the merit order of the training received from the organization providing such training can also be taken as a basis.
(2) For civil servants who have to be posted with the consent of the Ministry of General Administration, when the relevant ministry recommends for the posting, the matters as per sub-rule (1) shall also be disclosed.
(3) According to this rule, the civil servant who has been appointed and has come to appear, shall be appointed by the head of the concerned office within seven days after making him appear and assigning responsibilities along with the job description. Section 55A of the Act to the relevant office head who does not assign responsibility within such period. The supervisor will give a warning accordingly.
