: In this Act, unless the subject or context otherwise requires, –
(a) "Aircraft" means any device capable of being sustained in the atmosphere by the action of wind and the term includes powered or unpowered balloons, airplanes, kites, gliders and other similar flying devices.
(b) "Air transport service" means the service of transporting people, goods or any other living things or things by air for hire by one or more flights.
(c) "co-operative in relation to the corporation" means any person or any subsidiary body of the corporation having an agreement with the corporation under clause (h) of sub-section (2) of section 13.
(d) “Corporation” shall mean the Nepal Airlines Corporation established and constituted under this Act.
(D1) "Committee" means the Board of Directors of the Corporation.
(D2) "Chairman" means the Chairman of the Committee.
(e) "Director" means a member of the Committee.
(f) "General Manager" means the General Manager appointed under this Act.
(g) "Scheduled air transport service" means air transport service operated regularly according to the time table published by the corporation between certain designated places so that the general public can enjoy it.
