The work, duties and rights of the Academic Council shall be as follows:-

(a) To act as the main body in the academic and academic matters of the University.

(b) To determine the quality of study and teaching in the university, curriculum, level and type of examination, evaluation methods, teaching materials, number and qualification of students for admission.

(c) To formulate research policy. and granting approval to research programs.

(d) evaluating the academic programs of students.

(e) determining the standards of teaching and research.

(f) Arranging honorary degrees.

(G) Specifying the minimum qualifications of teachers for different levels.
