(1) As the principal body in the academic and academic field of the University, there shall be an Academic Council with the following members:-

(a) Vice-Chancellor Chairman

(b) Registrar Member

(c) Deans Member

(d) Five members from among the chairpersons of the subject committee

(e) Two members from the affiliated college

(2) The nomination of members other than ex-officio members shall be done by the assembly.

(3) The term of office of nominated members shall be three years.
