8. Arrangement of visas

8.1 Foreign investors or authorized representatives and their dependents will be given non-tourist visas to stay in Nepal for the duration of the foreign investor's investment in the industry established with foreign investment.

8.2 Investment in Nepal Non-tourist visa of up to 6 months will be given to foreign investors who came to Nepal for the purpose of study and research. 8.3 If a foreign investor establishes an industry by investing more than US$200,000 in foreign currency at one time, a permanent residence visa will be provided for the foreign investor and his dependent family as long as the investment in the industry remains.
