Considering the changing situation of the world and the internal needs of the country, the government of Nepal revised the air policy for the first time in 2053 with the aim of bringing more tourists into the country through the development of civil aviation. The leap made by the world in the field of civil aviation, the significant increase in air traffic at the international level and especially in the Asia Pacific region, the increased importance of tourism in the world population, the industrial development in the world through privatization and the participation of the private sector in the field of civil aviation and the increasing cooperation between the airlines are urgent. Timely improvement in the issued air policy is desirable and the presented air policy has emphasized on ensuring national flight safety and air safety and operating services in accordance with international standards. Some of the things mentioned in the existing air policy have been included in the law and have been put into practice.
