: (1) Apart from the payment according to section 42, 53 and 54 which can be paid in Nepali currency, the contractor shall pay the amount to be paid to the Government of Nepal according to this contract in dollars.
(2) Government of Nepal shall give the entire amount to be paid to the contractor in accordance with this agreement in Nepalese currency. The contractor can convert that amount into foreign currency according to section 15 of the Act. The payment of the obligations mentioned in foreign currency shall be made at the rate of Nepal Rastra Bank on the day of payment in such a manner that it is sufficient to purchase the foreign currency required to fulfill such obligations.
(3) For the purpose of equalization of foreign currency, the value of foreign currencies in respect of Nepali currency shall be determined at the buying and selling rate of the National Bank applicable on the day of payment.
