 (1) Land Use Council will be formed with the following chairman and members to coordinate the work related to the implementation of the land use policy:-
(a) Person appointed by the Government of Nepal – Chairman
(b) Member, National Planning Commission (under Ministry of Land Reforms and Administration) – Member
(c) Secretary, Ministry of Finance – Member (d) Secretary, Ministry of Industries – Member
(e) Secretary, Ministry of Power – Member
(f) Secretary, Ministry of Law, Justice, Constituent Assembly and Parliamentary Affairs – Member
(g) Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture – Member
(h) Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs – Member
(i) Secretary, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport – Member
(j) Secretary, Ministry of Defense – Member
(k) Secretary, Ministry of Forests and Land Conservation - Member (l) Secretary, Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment – ​​Member
(D) Secretary, Ministry of Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation – Member
(m) Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development – ​​Member
(n) Secretary, Ministry of Irrigation – Member
(p) Secretary, Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development – ​​Member
(h) Secretary, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation – Member
(d) Three members, including at least one woman nominated by the Government of Nepal, among the land use experts. (d) Secretary, Ministry of Land Reforms and Management - Member (2) The term of office of the Chairman and the member designated as per clauses (a) and (d) of sub-section (1) shall be four years.
(3) If the council under sub-section (1) deems it necessary, it may invite an expert to the meeting of the council.
(4) The procedure related to the meeting of the Council as per sub-section (1) shall be as decided by the Council itself.
(5) Other work, duties and rights of the council under sub-section (1) shall be as prescribed.
(6) The arrangements regarding the service and conditions of the chairman and members of the council shall be as prescribed.
