: (1) There shall be a Madhesi Commission in Nepal which shall consist of a Chairman and up to four other members.
(2) The President shall appoint the chairman and members of the Madhesi Commission on the recommendation of the Constitutional Council.
(3) The term of office of the chairman and members of the Madhesi Commission will be six years from the date of appointment.
(4) Qualifications of the Chairman and members of the Madhesi Commission, vacancy conditions, remuneration and conditions of service and other provisions related to the work, duties and rights of such commission shall be in accordance with the federal law.
