Rule 42
Secondary Education Passed Examination Committee
(1) There shall be a Secondary Education Pass Examination Committee consisting of the following members for conducting and controlling the Secondary Education Pass Examination:-
(a) Secretary to the Ministry – Chairman
(b) Joint Secretary, Ministry (Division of Higher Education and Educational Management) – Member
(c) Director General of the Department – Member
(d) One member nominated by the Ministry from amongst the Directors (e) Controller of Examinations, Tribhuvan University – Member
(f) Controller of Examinations, Council of Higher Secondary Education – Member
(g) Director General, Curriculum Development Center – Member
(h) One member nominated by the Ministry from amongst the educationists (i) Controller of Examinations, Office of Examination Control, Ministry – Member – Secretary
(2) The term of office of the nominated members according to sub-rule (1) will be three years.
(3) The examination committee may invite the experts of related subjects to participate in the meeting of the examination committee as observers.
(4) The work of the secretariat of the examination committee will be done by the examination control office.
(5) The procedure for the meeting of the examination committee shall be as determined by the committee itself.
