Rule 24
Publish merit order
(1) If the commission has conducted a written and practical examination, the candidate who has passed the examination shall publish the merit list along with the recommendation for the appointment of the candidate who passed the examination and the marks obtained in the interview. When recommending in such a way, as far as available, the number of the candidate's name, which is ten percent of the number of vacancies, should be kept in the alternative list.
(2) Candidates who are successful in more than one level will be recommended for the higher level only.
(3) The commission will publish a separate merit list based on the number of recommended posts for the purpose of appointing contract teachers from among the candidates who were not recommended for permanent appointment in the examination conducted by them. (4) When publishing the list as per sub-rule (3), first priority will be given to the alternative candidates for the open competition.
(5) Regardless of what is written in sub-rule (3), if a candidate is recommended at the same level after being advertised again, the list according to the order of merit according to sub-rule (3) will automatically be cancelled.
(6) A person who has been appointed as a contract teacher in a school on the basis of the separate list according to the order of merit according to sub-rule (3) cannot be re-appointed to another school on the basis of the list according to the same order of merit.
