Section 26
Registrar
(1) The Registrar shall be a full-time officer of the University.
(2) The appointment of the Registrar shall be by the Chancellor on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor.
(3) Tenure of the Registrar. It will be for four years.
(4) The academic, financial and personnel administration of the university will be under the general supervision of the registrar.
(5) Other duties, duties and rights of the registrar will be as prescribed.
(6) The remuneration, facilities and other conditions of service of the registrar shall be as prescribed.
(7) The registrar shall keep a record of the decision or order of the assembly. A copy of that decision or order should be sent to the Chancellor.
