(1) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the principal officer working full-time in the University.

(2) Other members of the Assembly headed by the Vice-Chancellor from the Chancellor to submit recommendations for appointment to the post of Vice-Chancellor. A committee consisting of two members will be formed and the vice-chancellor will be appointed by the chancellor on the recommendation of that committee. (3) The term of office of the vice-chancellor will be four years. (4) In the absence of the vice-chancellor The work shall be as prescribed by the Vice-Chancellor.

(5) The remuneration and facilities and other conditions of service of the Vice-Chancellor shall be as prescribed.
