: (1) The contractor or his agent may employ qualified foreign nationals to the extent that he is unable to find qualified Nepali nationals to fill the necessary positions. The Government of Nepal, upon the recommendation of the department, will provide the necessary permits to employ foreign nationals and the relevant foreign nationals and their family members to provide entry permits (visas) to stay in Nepal.
(2) If any foreign citizen involved in petroleum work or his family member commits any act against the interest of the country, the department may order the contractor to make such person leave the country.
