Article 111
Method of Passing the Bill

(1) A bill passed by one House of the Federal Parliament shall be sent to the other House as soon as possible and after passing by that House shall be submitted to the President for verification.
(2) The Finance Bill passed by the House of Representatives shall be sent to the National Assembly. The National Assembly shall discuss the bill and send it back to the House of Representatives with suggestions within fifteen days of receiving the bill.
(3) The House of Representatives will discuss the bill returned with suggestions as per sub-section (2) and submit it to the President for verification after including the suggestions deemed appropriate.
(4) If the National Assembly does not withdraw the Finance Bill within fifteen days of receiving the Finance Bill in accordance with sub-section (2), the House of Representatives may submit it to the President for verification.
(5) Bills other than the money bills passed by the House of Representatives and sent to the National Assembly shall be passed by the National Assembly within two months of their receipt or sent back with suggestions. If the National Assembly does not withdraw the bill within such time period, the House of Representatives may submit the bill to the President for verification by the decision of the majority of the existing members.
(6) Except for the Finance Bill, if any other bill passed by any House is rejected by the other House or if it is passed with amendments, the Bill shall be sent back to the House from which it originated.
(7) In accordance with sub-section (6), after consideration of a bill that has been rejected by the National Assembly or returned to the House of Representatives with amendments, the bill shall be submitted to the President for verification if the majority of the members of the House of Representatives, as presented or with amendments, pass it again.
(8) According to sub-section (6), the bill returned to the National Assembly with amendments from the House of Representatives shall be submitted to the President for verification if the National Assembly also passes it again with such amendments by the majority of the existing members.
(9) The following Bill will be presented in the joint meeting of both Houses and SanyIf the said meeting passes the bill as presented or with amendments, the house where the bill originates will submit it to the President for verification:-
(a) passed by the National Assembly but rejected by the House of Representatives, or
(b) The House of Representatives sent it back to the National Assembly with amendments, but the National Assembly could not agree to such amendments.
(10) When a bill is under consideration, even if the session of the House ends, such bill may be acted upon in the next session. However, if a bill is presented in the House of Representatives and pending consideration, or passed by the House of Representatives and pending consideration in the National Assembly, if the House of Representatives is dissolved or its term expires, such bill shall become inactive.
