(1) The Chief Justice or a Judge may, for special reasons, take special leave as follows:-

(a) not exceeding one month at a time, and

( b) During the entire period of service, without increasing it to a total of three months.

(2) During the period of being on special leave according to sub-section (1), the Chief Justice or the judge shall get half salary.
