: In addition to the work, duties and rights mentioned elsewhere in this Act, the work, duties and rights of the scientific body shall be as follows:-
(a) Conducting regular studies and researches on the existence of endangered wild animals or plants found within the borders of Nepal and providing necessary consultation to the management body and publishing reports as required in relation to such studies and researches,
(b) Issuance of certificates of health of endangered wild animals or plants or specimens thereof,
(c) to provide advice or consultation to the management body on endangered wildlife or plant species as required,
(d) to decide on the introduction, identification and classification of various species of endangered wild animals or plants,
(e) to propagate or cause to be propagated on scientific and technical matters of endangered species of wild animals or plants listed in the Convention,
(f) co-ordinating between the various bodies concerned by the Convention for the protection of endangered fauna and flora, and
(g) Perform other tasks as specified.
