: (1) The Government of Nepal may constitute a Federal Commission to give suggestions on matters related to the demarcation of provinces.
(2) The nomination of the province under sub-section (3) of Article 56 shall be by a two-thirds majority of the total number of members of the respective provincial assembly.
(3) The Government of Nepal shall constitute a commission to determine the number and boundaries of villages, municipalities and special, protected or autonomous areas to be constructed in accordance with sub-sections (4) and (5) of Article 56. Such commission shall determine the number and boundaries of villages, municipalities and special, protected or autonomous areas in accordance with the criteria determined by the Government of Nepal.
(4) The formation of the commission as per sub-section (3) shall be done within six months from the date of commencement of this constitution. The tenure of such commission will be one year.
