(1) For the purpose of declaring an area of ​​Nepal as a protected watershed area in accordance with Section 3 of the Act for land and watershed protection, the watershed protection officer has made necessary inquiries, studies and surveys and consulted the committee to declare it as a protected watershed area. The char fort and area of ​​the area should be sent in writing to the opening department.
(2) After coming in writing according to sub-rule (1), if the department deems it necessary, re-investigate, study and survey and if it is found necessary to modify the char fort and area, it shall also be sent to the Government of Nepal, the Ministry of Forestry and Land Conservation.
