Section 13
Endangered wildlife or plant species to be registered

(1) During the commencement of this Act, no person, with or without obtaining a permit, shall keep, use or use any endangered wildlife or flora for study, research, testing, training, demonstration, conservation education, conservation of biological resources, educational purposes or any other purpose. If the wild animal has been reared or domesticated and has received benefits from it, the related person, institution or agency shall apply to the management body as prescribed to register such wild animal within the specified period.
(2) If an application is received in accordance with sub-section (1), if the management body is confident that such wild animal has been kept or used in a way that does not adversely affect the prevailing law, the said body shall register such wild animal as prescribed and provide a registration certificate to the relevant person, institution or body.
(3) The wild animals kept without completing the procedure according to this section will be confiscated as prescribed.
(4) The duration, renewal, registration fee and other provisions of the registration certificate issued in accordance with this section shall be as prescribed.
