(1) There will be an assembly as the highest body in the university.

(2) The constitution of the assembly shall be as follows:-

(a) Vice-Chancellor President

(b) Vice-Chancellor Vice-President

(c) ) Vice-Chancellor Member

(d) Members of the House of Representatives and the Provincial Assembly elected under the election system of the constituency where the central office of the university is located. >

(e) Vice-Chancellors of other universities Member

(f) Member, National Planning Commission (Education See) Member

(g) Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Member

( h) Secretary, Ministry of Finance Member

(j) Five members including at least two women from among eminent scholars - members

(j) Deans and members

(k) Head and Deputy Head of Municipal Corporation where the central office of the university is located - members

(l) Six members from among the Campus Heads

(d) Three members from among the Chairmen of the Subject Committee of the University

(d) Five teachers, including at least two women, elected by the electoral body of the president and secretary of the campus unit of the Nepal Professors' Association of the University on the basis of proportional single transferable votes - members

(1) Nepal Professors Association representative one member

(2) Eastern University Professors Association representative one member

(b) ……………………..

(t) Representative, Academic Council Member

(th) Representative, Sadhan-Shrota Council Member

(d) Education enthusiast and Four members including at least two women from social workers - members

(d) Six members including at least two women from among industrialists, traders and farmers - members

(n) Three members including at least one woman on an inclusive basis from among the donors

(p) From among the Presidents of the Independent Students' Union of the campus Two members

(f) Heads of research centers Member

(b) Registrar Member- Secretary

(3) Other than the ex-officio members, the nomination of other members of the Assembly will be done by the Chancellor on the recommendation of the Executive Council.

(4) The term of office of the nominated members will be three years.
