Rule 91
Committee Arrangements
(1) In the event of the death of an employee in the course of an accident in the Legislature-Parliament or in the course of government work, or in case an employee needs treatment for injuries or is disabled for life, there will be a committee consisting of the following members to make recommendations regarding the gratuity or gratuity to be received by him or his family or descendants:-
(a) Secretary General – Chairman
(b) Secretary – Member
(c) Secretariat Secretary – Member
(d) Senior Medical Officer appointed by the Ministry of Health – Member
(e) Joint Secretary in charge of Administration Division – Member Secretary
(2) The committee under sub-rule (1) shall have the right to recommend whether or not an injury or death has occurred in connection with the Legislature-Parliament or government work.
(3) The recommendation of the committee as per sub-rule (1) shall be made on the basis of the following documents:-
(a) Evidence or visiting order of the Legislature-Parliament or appointed for Government work,
(b) Surgemin Muchulka or Police Report,
(c) a document or will of the hospital where the treatment was given,
(4) In accordance with sub-rule (2) of rule 88, the recommendation of the committee as per sub-rule (1) shall also be considered as the basis for approving additional sick leave. Explanation:- For the purposes of this rule, the term 'legislature-Parliament or the conduct of Government work' shall mean the following unless otherwise proved:-
(a) at any time while going to and returning from office or engaged in office work at any place within or outside office hours,
(b) In cases where the work is posted elsewhere for government work, throughout the work period.
