(1) Every university, institution or other educational institution shall provide community-oriented education and medical services in at least one district designated by the Ministry of Health of the Government of Nepal.
(2) While conducting community-oriented education as per sub-rule (1), such university, institute or other educational institution shall conduct public awareness programs on public health, nutrition programs, prevention of infectious diseases, basic health, etc.
(3) When providing medical services to the community as per sub-rule (1), such university, institute or other educational institution shall conduct basic health services and specialist health services prescribed by the Ministry of the Government of Nepal dealing with health matters.
