Rule 3
Ranks and Posts of Public Prosecutor

(1) The position of the Attorney General shall be the position as per the Constitution of Nepal and other than that, the rank and position of all public prosecutors (the civil service positions shall be as follows:- Rank Post Name (a) Gazetted Special Grade - Deputy Attorney General (b) Gazetted First Grade - Associate Attorney (c) Gazetted 2nd Class - Deputy Attorney or District Attorney (d) Gazetted 3rd Class - Assistant Attorney or Assistant District Attorney (2) The posts of other categories in the Public Prosecutor's office will be as specified by the Government of Nepal. The position of other employees of the office will be as prescribed by the Government of Nepal.
