14. Risks

Climate change and its challenges are starting to appear in a sudden way and it is affecting livelihood resources in various sectors such as water resources, agriculture and food, forest and biological diversity, physical infrastructure, public health and tourism. The implementation of this policy in an integrated and coordinated manner may have the following risks.

Identification, program design and implementation of community climate adaptation and mitigation measures may not be prioritized at the national and local levels.

Reliable information and Not having a mechanism to provide regional and thematic information including information.

There is a lack of coordination for the implementation of policies and programs, as well as not being able to gather the necessary technical and financial resources, technology development and use, and not getting priority to increase the capacity of the necessary manpower.

Inability to have the necessary legal system for the implementation of the DD policy. Lack of readiness, cooperation and involvement of consumer groups.

D climate adaptation and capacity building activities not reaching the target group. /p>

Unable to have the necessary coordination between the existing related organizations. Since the above-mentioned risks can be managed, it is seen that this climate change policy can be implemented in accordance with the existing will-power and the commitment of the Government of Nepal.
