In this Act, unless the subject or context otherwise requires,–
(a) "Council" means the Press Council established under section 3.
(b) "Member" means a member of the Council and the term includes the Chairman of the Council.
(c) "Committee" shall mean the Newspaper Distribution Audit Committee constituted as per Section 10.
(d) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules or regulations made under this Act.
