Rule 210
Notice of Absence
(1) If any member has to be absent from ten or more meetings in a row, advance notice should be given to the Speaker.
(2) If a member is not able to attend less than ten meetings of the assembly, the speaker must be notified in advance. If there is any reasonable reason for not being able to give advance notice, the notice must be given within three days of attendance.
(3) In the notification given according to sub-rule (1) or (2), the period of absence and the reason should also be mentioned.
(4) If there is a notice as per sub-rule (1), the Speaker shall present it for the approval of the meeting and if there is a notice as per sub-rule (2), the Speaker shall approve it.
