Rule 238
Language

(1) The proceedings of the House of Representatives or its committees shall be conducted in the Nepali language. If a member speaks in his mother tongue, arrangements can be made to record it.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), in the case of a member with a speech-related disability, the speaker may allow such member to express his opinion in sign language and to have such opinion translated by his assistant and delivered in the meeting.
