Section 295
Do not photograph or deface any person without permission
(1) No one shall take a picture of a person without his permission or make another picture by placing another person's picture with his picture. However, if a person takes a picture of a public place and also takes a picture of a person in that place, he shall not be considered to have committed an offense under this section.
(2) A person who commits or commits an offense under sub-section (1) shall be punished with imprisonment up to one year or a fine of up to ten thousand rupees.
(3) No one shall make or publish a picture of a person by placing a part of his picture with another part of another person or distorting it in any other way.
(4) A person who commits or causes an offense under sub-section (3) shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or with a fine which may extend to twenty thousand rupees.
