Section 168
Do not engage in abusive or inhuman behavior:
(1) No person shall treat or cause to be treated in a degrading or inhuman manner.
(2) A person who commits an offense under subsection (1) will be imprisoned for up to five years and fined up to fifty thousand rupees.
(3) In the case of menstruation or childbirth, women should not be subjected to confinement or any other kind of discrimination, untouchability or inhumane treatment.
(4) A person who commits an offense under sub-section (3) shall be punished with imprisonment up to three months or a fine of up to three thousand rupees or both.
(5) If a national servant commits an offense under this section, he shall be punished with imprisonment for an additional three months.
