Section 9
Provisions relating to land held in any other name
(1) A person or his family has directly or indirectly enjoyed such land himself by setting up another person and passing the registration of his land or relinquishing the right from any other person or acquiring any land from any person in the name of another person with the intention of enjoying it himself. If such land is also considered to remain with him, Section 7 will be applicable.
(2) If any land owner submits the fantwari required to be submitted as per section 13 in relation to the land as per sub-section (1) within the time limit as per that section, the said land will be retained in his name and action will be taken in accordance with this Act.
(3) In relation to the land under sub-section (1), if a land owner fails to submit the fantwari required to be submitted under section 13 within the time limit under that section, if the registered owner of that land shows that the real owner of the land is someone else, even though the land is registered in his name, if the owner of the land submits the details under section 13 All the rights will be terminated and action will be taken according to this Act by upholding the rights of the registrant.
(4) If the land owner as per sub-section (2) or the registered holder as per sub-section (3) comes to know about it from any other person without submitting the details, according to the order of the designated authority, such land will be confiscated and the land will come under the ownership of the Government of Nepal.

(6) If the decision of confiscation of the land by the designated authority is final according to sub-section (4), the designated authority shall give an amount equal to twenty-five percent of the value of the confiscated land at the specified rate as a reward to the person who provided the information in accordance with that sub-section.
