Section 293
Don't listen to other people's speech or make noises
(1) No person shall listen to or record any conversation between two or more persons without the permission of an authorized officer or the consent of the persons so speaking.
(2) A person who commits or causes an offense under sub-section (1) shall be punished with imprisonment up to two years or with a fine of up to twenty thousand rupees. However, this section shall not apply in the case of speech or statement made in public.
