Section 196
<br> not to use criminal force
No one shall use criminal force against anyone.
(2) It shall be deemed that he has used criminal force if he commits any of the following acts against any person:-
(a) If any force is used on any person with intent to commit an offence,
(b) using force on any person or his family or property with the intention of causing fear, alarm, or with the knowledge that such may be caused,
(c) frightens or threatens or coerces or in any other manner that force is about to be used on him.
(3) Notwithstanding anything else written in this section, while teaching, training or training the relevant subject, while acting, treating or using any force with the consent of another person or using force of a natural nature during any kind of game, using criminal force. It will not be accepted. However, the provisions of this sub-section shall not apply to the use of force with the intention of causing harm to someone.
(4) If the person who uses or causes criminal force to be armed, shall be punished with imprisonment up to three years or a fine up to thirty thousand rupees or both, and if he does not carry a weapon, he shall be punished with imprisonment up to one year or a fine up to ten thousand rupees or both.
