Section 33
<br> not to commit criminal conspiracy
No person shall commit any criminal conspiracy.
(2) Two or more persons shall be considered to have committed a criminal conspiracy if any one person or two or more persons commit any act by agreeing to commit or cause any offence.
(3) A person who commits or causes a criminal conspiracy to commit an offense of a heinous or serious nature shall be punished in accordance with the provisions of separate punishment elsewhere in this Code, and in the absence thereof, shall be punished as follows:-
(a) If he has committed an offense in accordance with criminal conspiracy, the same punishment as if he had committed such an offence,
(b) In the case of an offense other than the offense of criminal conspiracy, if such offense is committed in connection with the execution of such conspiracy or as a possible result thereof, the punishment for such offense shall be imposed,
(c) If there is any other offense in addition to the offense according to the criminal conspiracy, if such offense is also committed in connection with the execution of the same conspiracy or as a possible result of the same, additional punishment for such offence,
(d) If the act of criminal conspiracy has not been completed, half of the punishment for such offence.
