: In addition to the work, duties and powers mentioned in the Act, the other work, duties and powers of the Commission shall be as follows:- (a) Approving the plan, annual program and budget of the Commission, (b) In relation to merger of educational institutions. Approving the necessary standards, (c) Approving the basic curriculum, teaching methods and degree related standards for various levels and subjects of medical education.
